An animal study from 2012 found that CBD intake led to a reduction of appetite in rats, however more direct studies are needed to show a reduction of appetite in humans.

When the body breaks down brown fat cells the burned off energy creates heat, meaning that they actually burn calories by increasing thermogenesis.
Due to a reduction of calories being necessary for weight loss and fat loss, CBD may aid in burning fat if it converts white fat cells to brown fat cells in the body.
